One in 23 patients with COVID-19 is in serious but stable health

The general health of the patients with the coronavirus is good, medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital Marina Ezugbaia said.

She noted that currently a total of 41 patients are hospitalised in Tbilisi Infectious Hospital. Of those, 20 were diagnosed with the novel virus. Among them, one individual’s health state is serious. Four more have double pneumonia, as for the rest, their general health is stable.

As for the child diagnosed with the novel virus, Marina Ezugbaia said he has a mild version of the virus and the patient’s health condition is good.

Georgia has confirmed 23 cases of the COVID-19. 20 of them remain in Tbilisi Infectious hospital, while three more hospitalised in Sachkhere Medical Center.
