PM meets with Ukrainian pupils spending their summer in Georgia

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, together with Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth; Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs and MP Giorgi Kakhiani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine met with Ukrainian pupils who are spending their summer in a camp supported by the financial assistance of the Government of Georgia (GOG).

The PM and the cabinet ministers spoke with the children and hosted them for dinner.

The camp is hosting two groups of Ukrainian children from June 30 to July 20, including children of servicemen in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and those who have lost parents in the war.

During their two-week stay, the Ukrainian pupils participate in a wide variety of cultural, educational and recreational activities. Excursions are also being organized for them in Tbilisi, Sighnaghi and Bodbe.
