PM Kobakhidze: Army Camp allows youth to share pride felt by every soldier serving our homeland

“I am delighted to see this deeply valuable and important tradition continue. This marks the fourth year of the Army Camp project that offers you, the youth, a unique opportunity to share in the immense pride experienced by every member of our armed forces in the service of our homeland,” stated the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, during his speech at the opening ceremony of Army Camp 2026.

As Kobakhidze noted, the Army Camp is hosting 1,700 trainees across two locations: Kojori and the Sachkhere Mountain Training School.

“I am confident that the days ahead will be deeply engaging, enjoyable, and ultimately unforgettable for you all. In total, the Army Camp is welcoming 1,700 pupils, both here in Kojori and at the Sachkhere Mountain Training School. Every single one of you will have the chance to see firsthand what a soldier’s life is truly like, and to connect with the core values that guide our servicemen and women.

It is also highly significant that, for the first time, we have introduced a Patriarchate Hour component into the camp this year, providing a space for you to discuss our national and spiritual values. This is a project of paramount importance. I extend my gratitude to everyone involved in bringing it to life, thanks to the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Education, the Youth Agency, and every single instructor. The time you spend here at the Army Camp will be incredibly meaningful for each of you. I wish you all a highly successful and deeply rewarding experience,” the Prime Minister concluded.
