Modular school infrastructure to be arranged across Georgia

The Municipal Development Fund of the Infrastructure Ministry will arrange modular school infrastructure across Georgia. The Fund has announced a tender to purchase modular units.

Modular school buildings and prefabricated schools offer fast, flexible, and cost-effective solutions for modern educational needs.

The initiative aims to set up safe, fully equipped temporary spaces so as not to interrupt the learning process due to ongoing construction or reconstruction works.

Modular schools are school complexes assembled from factory-made, fully equipped, and transportable learning spaces that can be installed on-site within a short timeframe.

They are intended for use in schools where it becomes necessary to set up temporary learning spaces for students during the construction of a new building or the renovation of an old one.

The project entails the procurement of up to 750 modules of various types in total: 600 classroom modules, 100 administrative modules, and 50 sanitary facility modules.
