Police seize up to 50 kilograms of Cannabis in Kakheti

The police detained one individual in the eastern Kakheti region for unlawful cultivation of Cannabis in large quantities.

Law enforcers seized up to 50 kilograms of Cannabis from the detained individual’s yard in Gurjaani town as evidence.

The investigation is in progress under Article 265-1 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years.
