Number of COVID-19 cases in Georgia reaches 100

The number of COVID-19 cases in Georgia has reached 100. The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia made this statement ar the briefing today.

As Giorgi Gakharia noted, in the case of three patients the source of the infection can not be identified.

Prime Minister confirmed that there is a healthcare worker among those infected with coronavirus in Georgia. “A healthcare worker has been infected and this fact, among other things, gives us the opportunity to take further and tougher steps,” Gakharia said

According to the latest data, 18 people recovered, 4978 are under quarantine, and 266 under hospital supervision.
