MIA reports 21 injuries to police officers during violent protests on Rustaveli Avenue

As a result of illegal and violent actions perpetrated by rally participants, 21 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs sustained injuries last night, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported on the events that occurred on December 1-2, 2024, near the Parliament building on Rustaveli Avenue.

Some of the injured personnel have sustained severe injuries to their heads, faces, and bodies.

The police report a total of 113 employees have suffered health-related issues during the recent protests, with four individuals remaining in medical facilities.
