Sulkhan Tamazashvili, Davit Tamazashvili and Vazha Siradze promoted to Major General rank

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, has been granted the highest special rank of Police Major General. The decree was signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to information released by the Government Administration.

The same rank was also awarded to the Director of the Tbilisi Police Department, Vazha Siradze.

In addition, the head of the Border Police of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, David Tamazashvili, was also granted the rank of Police Major General.

The Government Administration said the decision reflects formal promotions within Georgia’s law enforcement leadership structure.
