One detained near April 9 Memorial for petty hooliganism, MIA say

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one of the individuals detained near the April 9 Memorial was charged under Articles 166 (petty hooliganism) and 173 (disobedience to a lawful request of a police officer) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

According to available information, the individual knocked down wreaths placed at the memorial by representatives of the government and parliament and used profane language.

In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs told the GPB First Channel that an investigation has been launched under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which concerns group violence, in connection with one of the incidents that occurred near the memorial.
