Mamuka Mdinaradze: They're dying of curiosity over GD's mayoral candidate; they chose to flirt with wind, riding a week of ‘confusion

Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream party, Mamuka Mdinaradze, commented on the ruling party’s yet-to-be-announced mayoral candidate, saying opponents are “dying of curiosity” over GD’s mayoral candidate and started “flirting with the wind” during what he described as “a week-long confusion.”

In a social media post, Mdinaradze emphasised that “no one could dream of a more unbeatable candidate than Kakha Kaladze.”

“Who will be the mayoral candidate of the Georgian Dream? It’s all just PR for the radicals. They are ‘dying with interest’ over who the ruling party will nominate, simply because, officially and formally, the political council announces the candidates, and out of tradition, there’s an unwritten rule to hold back full confirmation before the nomination. They’ve chosen to flirt with the wind, riding a week of ‘confusion.’ But in their hearts, they would never even dream of having a candidate with no alternative, like Kakha,” Mdinaradze wrote on Facebook.
