Amendments to establish position of State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies were submitted to Parliament's Bureau
Amendments proposing the establishment of a State Minister for the Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies within the government were presented to the Parliament’s Bureau during today’s session.
These amendments are included in the draft Law on the Structure, Powers, and Operating Rules of the Government.
The draft stipulates that the initiative includes a transitional provision, under which the government is tasked with defining the authority and scope of the State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies.
Additionally, if necessary, the government must ensure that relevant subordinate legislation aligns with the law.
The initial consideration of these amendments may take place at today’s session of the Legal Affairs Committee.
