Infrastructure Minister: Infrastructure progress requires new generation of professionals
Infrastructure development requires not only investment and technology but also a new generation of professionals, Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze said at the opening of the Surami bypass road.
Sokhadze emphasised the importance of education and skilled personnel in advancing the country’s infrastructure.
“A month ago, we visited this construction site with students from Kutaisi University – future engineers and builders. By showing them the work in progress, we aimed to strengthen their career choice and boost their motivation,” the Minister said.
According to him, the country’s development depends not only on financial resources or technology but, above all, on the people who design projects, tackle challenges, and drive progress.
“Infrastructure progress requires not only investment and innovation but also motivated, highly skilled specialists. I believe the new generation will soon build even larger and more significant roads in Georgia. Today, what our country needs most is knowledge,” Sokhadze noted.
