Infrastructure Minister, ADB representatives inspect coastline development projects
Georgian Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze, Deputy Minister Mzia Giorgobiani, Director General for the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Leah Gutierrez, and ADB representatives inspected the Maltakva coastline development projects and the Maltakva lake territory.
The Infrastructure Minister familiarized the ADB representatives with the scheduled projects in Abaklia, Maltakva and Ganmukhuri coastline, which aim to improve the coastline infrastructure and strengthen the region’s tourism potential.
Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund Beka Urushadze, Georgian MP Giorgi Khakhubia and Poti Municipal Mayor Beka Vacharadze accompanied the minister and ADB representatives.
Director General for the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Leah Gutierrez pays an introductory visit to Georgia. The bank’s representatives will be introduced to the ongoing and potential infrastructure projects already implemented with ADB support. They will inspect various projects in Poti, Zugdidi, Kutaisi and Tskaltubo.
