“The results of monitoring by OSCE/ODIHR observer mission will be important for us since we have the claim that we observe high standards,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili, General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) said after the meeting with Jillian Stirk, Head of OSCE/ODIHR observer mission and members of the mission.

According to Berdzenishvili, talks were held about the media environment in the country, covering of activities of political entities and the monitoring system.  “The fact that Head of OSCE/ODIHR observer mission first visited the Georgian Public Broadcaster was very important,” Berdzenishvili claimed.

Tinatin Berdzenishvili, General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) met with Jillian Stirk, Head of OSCE/ODIHR observer mission and members of the mission today.

The current and future projects of the channel were discussed during the meeting, with special emphasis on pre-election period and the role of the Public Broadcaster in this process.
