A few days ahead of the Junior Eurovision final, participants are actively rehearsing as preparations enter their final stage. The stage, decorations, and all technical components for the show have already been fully completed.
Today, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, together with her deputies and representatives of Starring Georgia, once again reviewed the ongoing preparations.
“The final stage of preparations is underway, and Junior Eurovision has already reached an impressive scale. I would like to thank all the agencies involved. Alongside the Public Broadcaster, Starring Georgia and all security and protection services are working actively, and all necessary measures have already been taken. I am grateful to all 18 participating countries.
I have great hope that this event will become a major platform for Georgia, and that next week the whole world and Europe will be focused on our country. For an entire week, Georgia will remain in the spotlight of European broadcasters. I sincerely hope that Georgian talent, music, and art will inspire and unite the younger generation, and that once again Georgia’s voice will be heard loudly across Europe.
Without the technical team of Starring Georgia, it would not have been possible to host an event of this scale at such a high level. I want to thank the Public Broadcaster and all organizers once again.
I pray that God blesses Georgia and these young participants, so that we welcome Europe with the level of hospitality our nation is known for, and that from here, we are able to let Europe’s voice be heard by the entire world,” the Minister stated.
“The year-long preparation process is going extremely well. First of all, all delegations are very satisfied. It’s impossible not to appreciate this stage. What is especially important for us is that, for the first time, every country is unanimously pleased with all the technical, technological, and visual aspects. It is quite rare for all 18 participating countries to express such agreement.
As for Georgia, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Anita is among the best. Very soon, our audience will see for themselves that this will be an unforgettable show.
We look forward to welcoming everyone on December 12 and 13 in this remarkable venue and, of course, on their TV screens,” Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), declared.
Georgia is hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the grand final scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at 8:00 p.m.
Eighteen European countries will compete in the final of Europe’s most esteemed junior contest, including Georgia’s representative, Anita Abgarian, the winner of Ranina.
Online voting for Georgia’s entry will be open worldwide, allowing people from Georgia and any country to cast their votes. Voting will commence on jesc.tv at midnight on December 12.
On December 13, the host, Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), will broadcast the final live.
