Roads Department to install temporary bridge on Lentekhi-Lasdili road

The Roads Department of the Georgian Infrastructure Ministry will install a temporary bridge on the Lentekhi-Lasdili road to restore traffic movement near Sakdari village.

According to the Roads Department, a contractor company deployed the equipment to launch the works. A temporary bypass road is available but for 4WD vehicles.

A river, swollen by heavy rainfall, washed away the road bridge near the village of Sakdari. Consequently, the movement of all types of vehicles is temporarily restricted on the Saqdari–Lasdili and Ushguli–Lasdili sections.
