GPB Director General views international audit report as a guideline for management, hails it as unconditional positive

“The international audit report is a guideline for the management to maintain or raise the standard even higher in the coming years,” said Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director General of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).

According to Tinatin Berdzenishvili, 2025 was a particularly significant year for the Public Broadcaster.

“2025 was a particularly significant year for the Public Broadcaster: We moved to a new building that happened without interruption of broadcasting. This was a complex process, both technologically and financially, since the construction component was entirely linked to new competencies.

Last year was absolutely different in terms of management activities. Significantly, the audit opinion, for already several consecutive years, is unconditional positive, which demonstrates that in terms of transparency and accountability, the Public Broadcaster is truly unconditional, primarily in terms of financial matters. For our management, the international audit report is a guideline, at least to maintain or raise the standard even higher in the coming years,” she said.

The international auditing company Moore ABC Ltd has issued an unconditional positive opinion on the financial statements of Georgian Public Broadcaster’s First Channel for the year 2025.
