There are now over 14 million confirmed COVID-19 cases globally, with over 600,000 fatalities and more than 7.8 million recoveries, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.
The U.S. stands on the first place with the number of fatalities, while Brazil comes the second. The number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. has risen to over 3.6 million and the death toll has surpassed 139,000. Brazil surpassed 34,000 cases and India passes one million virus cases as the crisis worsens around the globe.
The 237 743 new COVID-19 were recorded globally in the past 24 hours as World Health Organization reported.
