Georgian trio to compete at World Judo Championships in Budapest

The World Judo Championships continue in Budapest, Hungary. On the third day of competition, men will compete in the 73kg category while women contest the 57kg division.

Georgia’s team will be represented by Lasha Shavdatuashvili, Eter Liparteliani and Nino Loladze.

Shavdatuashvili faces Bulgaria’s Mark Hristov in his opening bout, whilst Liparteliani takes on South Korea’s Yuhee Kim. Loladze will meet Switzerland’s Binta Ndiaye.

Preliminary rounds begin at 13:30 local time, with the final block scheduled for 20:00.
