Georgian, Swiss Foreign Committee Chairs meet

Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee met with Laurent Wehrli, a member of the National Council of Switzerland, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee.

The parties focused on the regional security concerns, the situation in Ukraine and the ongoing peacebuilding process.

Laurent Wehrli affirmed the unwavering support of Switzerland for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.

As noted, the peacebuilding process in Ukraine shall not adversely impact the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.

The meeting was held within the framework of the 150th IPU Assembly in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
