“If our party decides not to participate in the elections, the public will hear it directly from us,” said Ana Buchukuri, a member of the For Georgia party.

“Our team’s position has always been sincere, both on this issue and others. A political party must be ready for any election — parliamentary or municipal — and we are preparing accordingly. It’s too early to discuss non-participation, but if that decision is made, we will communicate it ourselves.

As for other parties, I find it a bit surprising. On one hand, some make radical statements — not all, of course — but on the other hand, it seems they are actively preparing for the municipal elections. It comes across as an attempt to manipulate the electoral process,” Buchukuri added.
