Armenia extends emergency restrictions for another 10 days

Armenia extended emergency restrictions for another 10 days in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan made this statement.

As Armenian PM noted, the risk that the number of infected cases in Armenia will increase significantly exists. He said the main task is to make the process manageable so that the number of infected people would not rise dramatically.

As of March 31, Armenia has 532 confirmed COVID-19 cases. 50 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

449 people are hospitalized. 30 have been recovered. Three patients died.
