“I am participating in the European Political Community Summit for the fifth time. This provides me with the opportunity to address European leaders in a round-table format, and we will also use this event to hold bilateral meetings,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Armenia, where he is attending the eighth summit of the European Political Community (EPC).

According to the Prime Minister, the role of the Caucasus and Georgia in particular is unique. Georgia links seven countries to the Black Sea through economic and trade ties, and these issues will be a focus of discussion during the summit.

“I am personally participating in the European Political Community Summit for the fifth time. This provides me with the opportunity to address European leaders in a round-table format, and we will also use this event for bilateral meetings. Overall, the role of the Caucasus and Georgia is special. Georgia connects seven countries to the Black Sea and, consequently, to the West through economic and trade ties, and naturally, this will be a key topic of discussion. Georgia is of great importance to Europe in terms of connectivity,” said Irakli Kobakhidze.
