Abkhazian version added to the special website -  www.stopcov.ge

An Abkhazian-language version has been added to the special website –  www.stopcov.ge – launched by the Government of Georgia, which aims to inform the society about the situation in the country amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, – the press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia reports.

Starting today, the decisions made by the Government of Georgia within the framework of the state of emergency, as well as useful information pertaining to the coronavirus, will also be available in the Abkhazian language.

According to the press office of the Prime Minister, the Ossetian version is being worked out and will be launched in the coming days. At this stage, the official website is already available in five languages.

www.stopcov.ge has been available in Azerbaijani and Armenian languages for several weeks, allowing ethnic minorities to receive information concerning the COVID-19 in their native language.
