MIA: Man, accused of murdering the 9-year-old girl, is previously convicted

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has released official information on the murder of a girl in Gori town.

According to the Ministry, the detainee is previously convicted.

“As a result of joint investigation activities, carried out by the Special Investigation Team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the employees of Shida Kartli Police Department, police detained previously convicted I.N., DoB 1984, for intentional murder committed under aggravating circumstances.

An investigation is in progress under Article 109 (2) (b) of the Criminal Code of Georgia (murder under aggravating circumstances of a minor or a helpless person knowingly by the offender)” – the statement of MIA reads.
