Investigation launched into the fact of attacking law enforcers at Velistsikhe rally

Kakheti police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched the investigation into the fact of attacking law enforcers during Velistsikhe incident on December 16, – MIA reports.

According to the Ministry, the investigation is underway under Article 353 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies resistance, threat or violence against the protector of public order.
