Thailand restrictes visa permission for 18 countries - including Georgia

In order to avoid the spread of coronavirus, Thailand has restricted visa permission for 18 countries – including Georgia, the country’s interior minister said.

The 18 places include Bulgaria, Bhutan, China (including Taiwan), Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Malta, Mexico, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Vanuatu.

Visa exemption will be cancelled for South Korea, Italy and Hong Kong as well.

Thailand has reported 53 cases of the coronavirus. One has died from the novel virus.
