The quotas were abolished on Georgian lemon, kiwi, dried fruits, fruits and vegetables in Turkey.

Based on the information of Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the final round of negotiations between the Georgian and Turkish sides was held in Ankara.

Georgia and Turkey agreed to expand the agreement on free trade. Dimitri Kumsishvili, Georgian Minister of Economy and First Vice Prime Minister headed the Georgian delegation, Nihat Zeybekçi, Minister of Economy – Turkey.

Also on the reached agreement, quotas were increased on honey, live stock of sheep, goats and cows.
