Protesters Disrupt GPB First Channel journalist's live broadcast

A group of protesters interfered with the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) First Channel correspondent Ana Broladze’s ability to perform her professional duties during a live broadcast.

The protesters were shouting various slogans, including “Report the truth,” “First Channel belongs to us,” “Give airtime to the people,” and “Public Broadcaster belongs to the people.”

The First Channel journalist repeatedly called on the protesters to allow her to perform her duties.

The protesters gathered at Tbilisi Mall and marched towards the Tbilisi City Court on Sunday, February 2.
