PM: Sulkhan Tamazashvili's work as Chairman of Adjara Government to be important

“Sulkhan Tamazashvili’s work as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara will be very important,” Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said on Friday.

“Very important projects have been implemented in Adjara over the past years, and this work needs worthy continuation,” the head of state said, thanking Tornike Rizhvadze for his efforts.

“We feel we are offering a very good candidate, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, who has served our state and country with dignity for many years in a very significant body, the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He is from Adjara, was born and raised there, and his position as Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara will undoubtedly be significant.

He possesses the necessary knowledge and abilities to adequately direct Adjara’s development initiatives.

There are many challenges ahead of us, and I am confident that Sulkhan Tamazashvili will handle them in the best way,” the PM added.
