Georgia and Armenia Interior Ministers hold phone conversation

A telephone conversation was held between Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Sulkhan Tamazashvili, and Armenia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan.

According to Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armenian minister congratulated Tamazashvili on his appointment and wished him success in his future duties.

During the call, both sides highlighted the importance of effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Armenia and expressed readiness to further strengthen their partnership through continued active engagement.

Arpine Sargsyan also invited her Georgian counterpart to pay an official visit to Armenia, noting that such a visit would provide an opportunity to deepen cooperation and discuss key priority issues.
