Parliamentary opposition to meet PACE President

Representatives of the Georgian parliamentary opposition met Rik Daems, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of the Lelo for Georgia party said after the meeting that the PACE President was well informed about the latest political developments in Georgia.

“Rik Daems had many questions. We noted that the Georgian Dream disrespects agreements, as it happened in the case of the EU-brokered April 19 Agreement. Our European friends should keep on pressing so that the agreement, which represents a roadmap of Georgia’s future, is fully executed,” Japaridze said.
