Minister of Internal Affairs Gela Geladze conducted a series of working meetings in the Adjara region. According to the ministry’s press service, the Minister met with the leadership and staff of the Adjara Police Department and the Patrol Police Department.

During the visit, Geladze was briefed by local police heads on the current crime situation, preventive measures, and road safety efforts in their respective jurisdictions.

The Minister also visited other structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Adjara, where he spoke with employees and inspected their working conditions, equipment, and facilities.

At Batumi International Airport, Geladze met with border guards and members of the Security Police Department.

The Minister emphasized the Ministry’s full readiness to ensure a safe environment during the summer tourist season for both domestic and international visitors.

He concluded the visit by wishing success to the employees in their professional duties.
