We expect the number of coronavirus cases to increase in the country by the end of this week or next week, with the possibility of quadruple and fifth transmission – said Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.

As Amiran Gamkrelidze said, it means that the epidemic will expand. “Our main task is to minimize new cases. New contacts are revealed every day, and many people around these contacts are examined. Some of them are identified and further epidemiological and laboratory studies continue,” Gamkrelidze said.
