I apologize to my journalists instead of politicians – Tinatin Berdzenishvili, General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) wrote in the social media.

Berdzenishvili commented about the attack of Gigi Ugulava, Leader of European Georgia Party on the journalist of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) in response to the asked question during the protest ongoing at Central Election Commission (CEC).

“Attacks on Public Broadcaster have become frequent and I am not astonished. Free media has never been liked in this country. I apologize to my journalists instead of politicians. Today’s menacing, trust me, will not be left only in the archive of the channel,” Berdzenishvili wrote on Facebook.
