Giorgi Vashadze: Hungary formerly boasted a lot, but eventually agreed to common European decisions
“Hungary formerly boasted a lot, but eventually agreed to common European decisions,” said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the Unity-National Movement, in response to the Hungarian Foreign Minister’s statement that Hungary would veto the issue of imposing sanctions against Georgian officials.
According to Vashadze, “Hungary has never gone against common European decisions.”
“The Ivanishvili regime has no option but to agree to the release of prisoners and early elections.” Giorgi Vashadze stated that not only should all perpetrators face sanctions, but that a full-fledged case will be presented to the International Court of Justice in Hague, and that all regime participants will be brought before an international tribunal for criminal responsibility.
