The traditional Friday prayer was not performed at the central mosque in Batumi today.

Friday prayers, as well as daily congregational prayers, cancelled at all mosques in Georgia amid the threat of the coronavirus.

Mufti at the Administration of Muslims of All Georgia Adam Shantadze noted that in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, it is important to follow the recommendations introduced by Health Services.

Adam Shantadze added that the restriction will be imposed until the danger of the spread of the virus exists.
