FM Maka Botchorishvili Participates in UN's 4th International Conference in Spain

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili is visiting Spain to participate in the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4).

According to the Georgian MFA, the conference brings together more than 70 heads of state and government, foreign and finance ministers, as well as other high-ranking officials from around the world.

Conference participants will be addressed by UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The conference will be opened by King Felipe VI of Spain.

Minister Botchorishvili will deliver remarks during the general debate segment of the event, where she will highlight Georgia’s role in achieving sustainable development goals, the country’s regional significance, and Georgia’s experience in maintaining economic stability, financial sustainability, and growth.

The visit will also include bilateral meetings between Minister Botchorishvili and her counterpart ministers, according to the Foreign Ministry’s announcement.
