First recovered patient left Hospital of Infectious Diseases

The patient, who was first confirmed to have novel coronavirus in Georgia, has been recovered and discharged from the hospital. Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases confirmed this information to the Georgia First Channel.

The patient was subjected to several tests on coronavirus and the results of all of them proved to be negative.

The cured patient will have to self-isolate for two weeks.

Georgia confirmed the first case of coronavirus on February 26. A 50-year-old man, a Georgian citizen, who arrived from Iran through Azerbaijan, tested positive.
