Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, congratulated Georgia on National Day.
“It gives me great pleasure to send Your Excellence my congratulations on the celebration of your national day, particularly in the year in which Georgia celebrates centenary of the establishment of the Firth Democratic Republic of Georgia, together with my best wishes for the good fortune and happiness of the people of Georgia in the coming year.
At this time, I reflect on the close historic ties between our countries, and look forward to our ongoing friendship and cooperation,” reads the letter of congratulation posted on the official Facebook page of British Embassy.
