Defense Minister expressed condolence to families of Leogrand Hotel fire victims

Levan Izoria, Georgian Defense Minister arrived in Batumi city to express condolence to families of Leogrand Hotel fire victims.

Izoria attended public funeral at Batumi Cathedral. He said that completion of investigation into the causes of fire was in the interests of the government.

Eleven people died as a result of the fire, which broke out at 5-star Leogrand Hotel in Batumi on November 24. Ten people are citizens of Georgia, one – Iran. More than 100 people were evacuated from the building.
