Georgia's Ambassador to Germany expects PM's visit to strengthen Germany's support for Georgia

“Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to Germany is significant following his first official visit to Brussels,” said Georgian Ambassador to Germany, Levan Izoria.

According to the Ambassador, the visit will give additional impetus to Georgia-Germany bilateral relations.

“Germany is a leader supporter of Georgia’s European integration path, and this visit will be an opportunity to intensify and strengthen this support. The main topics will be Georgia’s progress and fulfilment of 9-step priorities. I am sure the visit will give additional impetus to Georgia-Germany bilateral relations.

Next week, we will have the Georgia-Germany Economic Forum, focusing on a broad spectrum of cooperation and geopolitical challenges. The German Federal Republic has become active in maintaining peace and stability in the region, and our co-participation as a leader country aspiring to be a member of the European Union is very significant. We look forward to taking these relations to a new, higher level,” Levan Izoria said.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz today.
