Ambassador Izoria says Germany strong supporter of Georgia's EU integration

“Germany has been observed as the leader country in supporting Georgia’s EU integration process. This is confirmed by the dynamics of high-level, bilateral meetings that will continue next year,” said Georgia’s Ambassador to Germany, Levan Izoria.

According to Izoria, last year’s meetings served as the factor to receive candidate status. Prime Minister had high-level communication with German officials 4 times in 10 months. Annalena Baerbock, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany visited Georgia in March.

“We now have an action plan so that our cooperation platform, both with the European Union and especially with its leader country, the Federal Republic of Germany, is defined in concrete formats,” he said.
