Since March 2020, the COVID-19 death toll has dropped to its lowest level in the last 24 hours in Italy, Spain, France and the UK.

According to the official figures, in the last 24 hours 260 people died in Italy, 288 in Spain, 242 in France and 336 in the UK.

The global number of coronavirus cases has reached 3 002 882.

207 080 patients died from the novel virus and 882 482 recovered.
