Agriculture Minister attends international conference in Baku

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Davit Songulashvili, participated in the international conference Agriculture: Mobilizing Countries for Nature during his working visit to Azerbaijan.

According to the Ministry, the Minister spoke at a panel discussion titled The World and Baku after COP29: Achievements, Prospects, and Opportunities in the Field of Climate Change, where he highlighted the global urgency of combating climate change and emphasized the critical role of agriculture in this process.

The Ministry noted that the conference brought together high-level representatives from various countries and aimed to promote nature-based agriculture, encourage climate-resilient practices, and strengthen international cooperation in the fight against climate change.
