According to the Ministry of Health of Georgia, 41 people are placed at the hospitals of infectious diseases across the country (three confirmed cases), 117 are in quarantine areas in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia.
As Amiran Gogitidze, Head of Call Management Department at Emergency Situations Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center reports 85 people left medical facilities and the part of them continue to stay in self-isolation.
“The recommendation for self-isolation implies that the relevant services, the epidemiological and disease control services, are constantly monitoring their housing to determine whether isolation conditions are being observed “, – Amiran Gogitidze said.
Georgia reported the first case of coronavirus in the country on February 26.
