Ukrainian PM visits Georgia

The official visit of Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine to Georgia has started. An Official Greet and Welcome Ceremony of the visiting Prime Minister was held at the Government Administration of Georgia. The Ukrainian colleague was hosted by Irakli Garibashvili, Head of Government of Georgia.

The national anthems of the two countries were performed. The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine introduced the members of their delegation to each other.

A face-to-face meeting of the Prime Ministers will be held at the Government Administration to be followed with negotiations between the visiting delegation and hosting counterparts in an extended format later on today. Irakli Garibashvili and Denys Shmyhal will make joint media statements.

Denys Shmyhal will hold meetings with Georgian officials and the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

The Ukrainian delegation will pay tribute to the memory of soldiers who died fighting for the territorial integrity of Georgia and will lay a wreath at the national memorial at Heroes Square in Tbilisi.
