Traffic movement resumed for light vehicles at Gudauri-Kobi section of central highway

As a result of cleaning works the traffic movement has resumed for light vehicles at Gudauri-Kobi section of central highway. The journalist of the First Channel informs about it from the site.

Specialists of the Monitoring Group of Environment National Agency of Ministry of Environment Protection has ended works at the ground and issued permission to clean up the area by heavy techniques. The avalanche threat has been lifted.

Due to snow and icing, restrictions remain for trailers and semi-trailers.

In addition, traffic movement is one-sided in Gudauri – Kobi section, which is supervised and coordinated by patrol police.
