Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili appeals to the Ministry of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs to start recording information about the socially vulnerable and extremely disadvantaged families and take special measures for children of these families urgently.

In addition, Salome Zurabishvili expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased teenager in Martvili and noted that she, as an ordinary citizen, offers her apologies to the family.

“I should respond to the tragic fact of the suicide of a teenager and connection of this fact with hunger. I do not know how many factors have caused such a tragedy, but I, as the president of this country, know that the connection between hunger and suicide of a teenager is a tragedy and a shame for the country. Therefore, I address the Ministry of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs to start recording information about the socially vulnerable and extremely disadvantaged families urgently and take special measures for the children of these families. I express my condolences and as an ordinary citizen, offer my apologies to the family”, – Salome Zurabishvili stated.
