Opposition continues meetings at US Ambassador's residence

The opposition parties’ leaders continue individual meetings at the residence of the US Ambassador to Georgia.

As the Labor Party leader, Shalva Natelashvili, said before the meeting, “the ambassadors’ efforts are underway to pull the country out of the deep political crisis, caused by the current government, by rigging elections and usurping power.”

“Opposition parties have signed a declaration that no one is going to enter the Parliament. We demand re-election. Therefore, we are waiting for a new election date from Ivanishvili and only this topic can be discussed during the consultations,” Natelashvili said.
